About Dataninja
Dataninja has over 10 years of experience working with data and supporting journalists, NGOs, public school teachers, and companies in leveraging the potential of data. The Dataninja School was born in 2018, grounded in this solid industry experience. Our goal is to foster the skills, competencies, and creative mindset that enables people to integrate data into their work and daily lives.
We have won multiple awards for our work, including the Data Journalism Award and the European Press Prize for the collaborative project The Migrant Files. We are partners in DEDALUS and DATALIT, two EU-funded projects focusing on defining a Data Literacy Framework and teaching curriculum. Dataninja has also been generously supported by prestigious grants, including from the Open Society Foundation, the Google News Initiative, and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.
